We will be speaking both on safe technology and the lithium fire risks. Specific outcomes sought include creating a tipping point of awareness in the SF Bay Area, from cell tower risk to battery storage fires, – as BESS is proposed in Novato and Petaluma which has dairy farms supplying the nation. Moss Landing is a huge wakeup, with unknown impacts to our nation’s food supply and sensitive ecosystems.
